Are you passionate about building community, supporting local families, and creating vibrant spaces for recreation? The Graminia Rink Society is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our board and help shape the future of our outdoor recreational facilities. As a board member, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our rink, tennis courts, basketball courts, and volleyball area—spaces that bring our community together year-round for fun, fitness, and connection.
Whether you’re an organizer, a fundraiser, a creative thinker, or just someone who cares about your neighbourhood, your skills and energy can make a real impact. The board meets regularly to plan events, manage upgrades, apply for grants, and ensure that our facilities remain safe and welcoming for everyone. It’s a great way to meet new people, give back to your community, and be part of something meaningful.

Rink Day Update ❄️ (a.k.a. When Winter Takes a Coffee Break)
Well folks… Mother Nature has cranked the thermostat and our ice has taken the hint. Due to the unseasonably warm temperatures and dwindling ice, we’ve had to postpone Rink Day for now.
As much as we love this community, we really want Rink Day to include actual skating—and right now, the ice just isn’t up for it. Rather than celebrate in puddles, we’re going to wait it out and hope for cooler temps so we can get the ice back. Winter, if you’re listening… this is your cue.

Tickets are available now, and sales close Sunday, so be sure to grab yours. Every ticket sold helps raise funds for the ongoing operations, maintenance, and future improvements of the rink, and we truly appreciate the continued support.
